Thirteen years ago, I found a stray dog limping down a South LA street - sick, scared, and way too young for how worn-out he looked. I named him Arturo. I thought he’d just coast out his last years. Instead, he got better. A lot better. Turns out he was barely five.

Over the next decade, I turned my own obsession with health - nutrition, functional medicine, the whole human biohacking playbook - into his.
