The Clean Movement

When Clean founder, Dr. Alejandro Junger, M.D., was undergoing medical training, He went through what too many people experience: multiple, seemingly unrelated, and compounding health issues. He found himself in an over-medicated state, lacking improvement, and out-of-balance with his body's natural rhythms. Experiencing elevated stress and anxiety, poor sleep, digestive issues, and low energy – he was determined to feel better.


Driven by an intuition that the root cause had yet to be identified, he embarked on a journey to find a better solution. He embraced a holistic approach, transcending conventional distinctions between Eastern and Western medicine, as well as ancient wisdom and modern science.


What did Dr. Junger discover? He began to understand that his issues were all connected to one vital system — the gut. He started with healing the gut, supporting the body’s natural detoxification system, and restoring the body with the essential nutrients and rest it needs for optimal function. The protocol he created proved to be the most powerful and effective method to systematically reclaim his health and that of his patients. He experienced a greater sense of vitality than he had ever felt before. This transformative experience inspired him to share this with others by founding what has evolved into the Clean movement.
